Berlin, Germany – June 5-7, 2023
The sensorFINT Conference 2023, held at the Julius Kühn-Institut in Berlin, served as a pivotal forum for experts in chemometrics, sensor integration, and spectroscopic sensing. Organized by the GDCh (German Chemical Society) work group on Chemometrics & Quality Assurance and the COST Action sensorFINT, the event brought together leading researchers and industry professionals to discuss the latest advancements in analytical technologies for process control, labelling, and decision-support systems.
MoSaiC project was represented by Dr. Luca Fiorani (ENEA), a key researcher in the consortium, who presented groundbreaking work on non-destructive laser spectroscopic sensing. His research focused on the detection of organophosphate compounds, demonstrating how MoSaiC’s innovations contribute to real-time threat monitoring using miniaturized, portable sensors.
This advancement aligns with MoSaiC’s mission to enhance CBRN detection capabilities by developing cost-effective, field-deployable technologies that bridge the gap between laboratory precision and operational flexibility.
The insights shared at sensorFINT 2023 reinforced MoSaiC’s commitment to integrating advanced sensor fusion, data-driven analytics, and non-destructive spectroscopic methods into next-generation C-B monitoring systems.
