On 23–24 September, MoSaiC project partners returned to the Calvarina Testing and Training Area, managed by Fondazione SAFE, to carry out the second validation session dedicated to the system design of the solution.
The objective of the activity was to further validate the overall system architecture through a series of partial tests aimed at risk reduction, as well as to assess the improvements, adjustments, and refinements implemented following the first validation campaign conducted in April 2025.
This second validation round represented a key opportunity to evaluate the progress achieved in the development of the MoSaiC solution, ensuring that the design evolution remains aligned with operational requirements and project objectives. Particular attention was given to comparing system performance and design modifications against the outcomes of the initial testing phase.
The event brought together more than 20 participants from the seven beneficiaries involved in the consortium, including scientists, engineers, technicians, and project managers. This multidisciplinary participation ensured a comprehensive assessment of the system from both technical and operational perspectives.
Overall, the second validation session marks another crucial step for the MoSaiC project, reinforcing the development process and supporting the continuous improvement of the technologies under development.
