Fondazione SAFE – Security and Freedom for Europe

SAFE is an independent Italian non-profit foundation promoting high-impact activities in the sectors of Defense, Peace and Stability, as well as Security, Rule of Law, at the operational and strategic level.
SAFE is the partner in charge of innovation for the Italian Cluster CBRN P3 – a network bringing together actors from the industry and the scientific community, as well as research centers and universities, to achieve enhanced prevention, preparedness, and protection of the population and the environment from CBRN threats. Characterized by remarkable experience in project management, SAFE currently leads a total of five international CBRN innovation and training programs, for a global value above 12M€.

Re-liON

RE-liON is a Netherlands-based technology company providing intuitive XR (AR/VR) platforms for Mission Support and Training in Defense and Safety & Security. RE-liON is incorporated in 1999 as a spin-off of Twente University and privately owned. RE-liON has in-house capabilities for both software and hardware research, design and development. RE-liON’s representatives also participate in EDA CapTech groups: Land and Modeling & Simulation.

Bruhn NewTech is the world’s leading software company providing Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear Knowledge Management Software. Bruhn NewTech’s solutions have proven critical value when used in conflict zones around the world. The Company also provides subject matter expertise on integration of CBRN sensor results and resulting CBRN knowledge management including hazard prediction, warning and reporting. This entails the handling of all the collected sensor information and the visualization of the resulting impact for the operator to take timely lifesaving operational decisions.

ENEA – Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development

ENEA is the National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development, a public body aimed at research, technological innovation and the provision of advanced services to enterprises, public administration and citizens in the sectors of energy, the environment and sustainable economic development. It is also the reference Institution for advanced technologies and radiation protection (nuclear, radiotherapy, medical radio-diagnostics, hospitals and scientific research).

CAFA Tech

CAFA Tech is an Estonian robotics company that provides Autonomous and tele-operated mobile robots and drones controllable over 4G/5G, Computer Vision systems for UGV-s and UAV-s as well as Implementation of computing centers (based on GPUs) for a large number of robots/drones and integration of cameras and sensors.

Consorzio CREO

Consorzio CREO Centro Ricerche Elettro-Ottiche is a not-for-profit research organization active in the research and development of advanced thin film materials, micro-devices, detectors, and electro-optical sensors, particularly for the IR spectrum. CREO has established numerous cooperations and projects dealing with chemical and biological sensing for the defense and the security domains. CREO will also count on the support from the Institute for Microelectronics and Microsystems (IMM) of the Italian National Council of Research (CNR), a no-profit public research organization which owns in Bologna the largest public silicon micro fabrication facility existing in Italy, equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentations for MEMS processing.

Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT)

The Austrian Institute of Technology is Austria’s largest research and technology organization specialized in research and development activities of technologies, techniques, and tools of key infrastructure solutions of the future. The AIT Center for Technology Experience deals with fundamental questions on the interaction between people and technology, investigating qualities, forms of interaction, and new methods and tools. As for the AIT Center for Vision, Automation Control, it carries out research in the fields of image processing, sensor fusion, machine learning, data analytics, mathematical modelling for real-time applications, process automation, system analysis, and control and optimization of complex dynamical systems and processes.
